The peat hits you right away but it's the raw mate underneath that keeps me coming back. One spray lasts through a whole workday, and the smokiness never gets cloying. Bertrand Duchaufour really nailed that vertical whisky feel.
The whisky accord is so smoky and vertical, it feels like a bonfire in a glass, and the mate keeps it grounded with that raw herbal bite. I’ve worn it three days straight and the peaty depth only gets richer on my skin.
The raw mate note gives it this green, almost bitter edge that balances the peat beautifully. I’ve worn it through a full workday and the whisky accord stays close and confident without ever getting loud. This one feels like a proper grown-up scent.
